13.2.1 Beds List
The beds list displays the information about all CMSs and networked bedside monitors
(target monitors) in the same network segment of an LAN.
When the “Remote CMS” screen is accessed, the CMS will automatically list other CMSs
which can be operated remotely. Only when the CMSs’IP addresses are added in the
Multi-CMS Communication Settings menu, the names of the corresponding CMSs will be
automatically displayed in the list.
In the beds list, the first-level nodes are the unit names of the CMSs; the second-level nodes
are the monitors connected to the CMSs. Generally, the name of the second-level node is
department, bed number or patient name.
You can select the target monitor to be viewed by selecting the radio button before the
second-level node, or the monitor.
The background color indicates the status of the target monitor.
White: indicates that no alarm occurs to the target monitor.
Red: indicates that a high level alarm, nurse call or event occurs to the target monitor.
Yellow: indicates that a medium or low level alarm occurs to the target monitor.
Grey: indicates that the target monitor is in standby status.
Light Grey: indicates that the target monitor is in offline status.
13.2.2 Physiological Alarm Area
This area is to display physiological alarm messages and relevant text coming from the
viewed target monitor circularly. The display rule is same as that in physiological alarm area
of patient window. Please refer to 6.2.3.5 Physiological Alarm Area.
Different background colors are used to indicate the alarm priorities.
Red: indicates that a high level alarm occurs to the target monitor.
Yellow: indicates that a medium or low level alarm occurs to the target monitor.
13.2.3 Technical Alarm Area
This area is to display technical alarm messages or prompt messages circularly coming from
the viewed target monitor. The display rule is same as that in the technical alarm and patient
information area of patient window. Please refer to 6.2.3.4 Technical Alarm and Patient
Information Area.
